Custom Sheet-Metal Trunk & Grain Box Fabrication Yard

Bazaar Sheet-Metal Storage Trunk & Grain Box Works

Every daughter getting married in our surrounding villages still receives large, beautifully painted galvanized iron storage trunks to carry her wedding clothes, quilts, and brass kitchenware to her new home. Flimsy factory plastic storage boxes crack under village conditions and get chewed through by house rats in months, while heavy wooden almirahs cost too much for modest family budgets. This fabrication shop cuts heavy galvanized iron sheets with foot-treadle shears, bends crisp ninety-degree edges on manual bending brakes, and beads stiffening ribs across wide panels to eliminate tin drumming. The tinsmith spot-welds structural corner gussets, installs reinforced hasps with padlock loops, and coats the exterior with bright enamel paint decorated with traditional floral stencils. Fathers of brides and grain-storing farmers visit the workshop to rap their knuckles against the metal gauge, ordering heavy-gauge trunks that will survive decades of moving between rooms and protect family valuables from moisture and pests.
